Hello everyone! Today is about what I have been enjoying this month and maybe something new. First of all, this month has been a bit stressful at the beginning due to exams and just study in general, but otherwise it has been lovely.


 1. The nail polish i want to start this off with is from a shop in Auckland called RUBY , which is a very nice shop with several locations. They sell clothing as well as other things like the nail polish I bought. They are having a sale at the moment and selling each one for only $5 so be sure to check it out!

2. The set of silver rings and the necklace with a pearl on it. This was all bought from equip and I have been loving them with a lot of outfits as they go well with everything and look very neat.

3. TONI&GUY sea salt spray. This has been my touch of summer this month. The weather has been getting warmer in New Zealand with several sunny days where I was able to go to the beach with friends. It makes you're hair smell amazing and give your hair a beach wavy look and texture.

4. The Body Shop coconut oil shower gel gives your skin a lovely smell and leave a bit of a summer scent behind.

5. S.Oliver 'selection' perfume. It has a very fresh but mature smell to it and it is hard to say with perfumes if another person would enjoy them but I have been loving it lately but more a smell I would wear at night to go out.

Hey everyone! Today's post is all about healthy eating and how to enjoy it. This is another series I'm starting on my blog that I hope many of you will enjoy.
Having a smoothie bowl is one of my favourite things for breakfast and it is so easy to customise to what you like.

Mine includes:

For the smoothie I used: (put in a blender or smoothie machine)
4 Tablespoons of coconut yogurt (base)
1 cup of frozen raspberries (fruit)
1 cup of frozen bananas (fruit)
and some coconut almond milk. (additional liquid)

Toppings: (decorate however you like and the amount you like)
Chia pudding on the side
Coconut flakes
Raspberry granola
Sesame seeds
Ground LSA

Suggestions:

Base:
-  Coconut yogurt
-  any yogurt of your choice
-  Ice cream (maybe not for breakfast but as lunch or a snack)

Fruits:
I like using frozen fruits as they make it taste like real fruit ice cream
-  Any kinds of berries
-  Frozen mango
-  Banana
(I found that fruits such as apples, pears, kiwi tend to make it quite watery and freezing these will give your smoothie a weird taste)

Additional liquid:
-  almond milk
-  coconut milk
-  soy milk
-  standard milk
-  coconut water
(really anything you would like)

Toppings:
-  any kind of ground seeds (e.g chia seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, ...)
-  dried fruit (e.g mango, cranberries, apple, goji berries)
-  fresh fruits (can use any. My personal favourites: nectarine, banana, pomegranate seeds, pear, kiwi)
-  Get creative! There are no limits to what you can do with this and thats why I love it so much!

Hey guys! So I'm thinking of starting a 'Plant Project' series on this blog, as gardening is one of my favourite things to do. What I want to focus on in this series is tips when growing vegetables and fruits (maybe some flower ones). There will be many 'How to' posts on some plants and what I like to use and grow.

You'll need:
-  1 clear plastic cup
-  some soil, doesn't have to be seed raising mix
-  seeds of your choice. (mustard seeds)
-  water
-  a sunny place that isn't too cold

I want to start this off with a fairly simple post. I want to introduce this series by giving you a little insight on seedling growing and a little project you can try out at home for some fun and the satisfaction of when the plant starts growing and maturing.

In the picture above you can see i have put some soil in a plastic cup that I bought a pack of at the supermarket, as well as the seeds i used for this. I bought some yellow mustard seeds you can find in the herb section. I chose this as it is very easy to grow and it germinates fast. I did this project together with my little sister to teach her a little about growing plants.

As you can see that all the seedings are tending to grow to one side, this is because they were standing on my window shelf and plants naturally grow towards the light source.

For my seedlings it is time to take them out and plant them in the garden if I want to grow a mustard plant that will produce the herb and give me a possibility to try make my own mustard if I wanted to.

Tips:
-  Try keep the soil moist
-  Don't overwater (there shouldn't be more than 5mm of water collected at the bottom as this can          
   cause the roots to rot)
-  Keep in a sunny and warm place (preferably no outside, only if its warm)


Your seedlings should come out of the soil in about 2-5 days when using yellow mustard seeds.
