Organization Tips & Tricks

1. Yearly planners (weekly): Write everything you're doing down in a yearly planner and update it each Sunday for the next week. The one I'm using is from kikki.K and I love it. It has cute designs in it and has enough space for my plans I usually have during a day or week.
2. To do lists: One of the many things I like to do to make sure i get everything done in a day or several days is making to do lists. Mine (as seen in the photos) is from kikki.K and I use it a lot as you can just go and tick off what you have finished. (has a magnet at the back if i wanted to attach it to my fridge)
I like to used my planner for events and major things that I need to do at specific times where my to do list is more little things i can do when I have spare time.
3. Planning time: Have a dedicated planning time once a week or twice how ever you prefer. I like to sit down on Sundays and wednesdays and update both, my planner and to do lists.
4. Prioritising: This is a very important thing to do when you're planning. I like to either write a big
' I ' next to a task or event to remind myself that it is Important or highlight it.
5. Find a tool that works for you: It could be pen and paper like I do but there is also many great apps you can download on your phone or laptop that will send you reminders. I personally prefer doing it the old-fashioned way.
6. Multitasking can be bad: Sometimes you're trying to write a blog post or do your homework, while your phone might be lying next to you with your Instagram feed open and some music playing in the background. Let me tell you...80% of the time your task which would normally take 20 minutes will end up taking twice as long because you are constantly distracted. So always keep to one thing at the time. (we all like to listen to some music though while working am I right?)
I hope this helped you guys a bit and keeps you organised and always prepared in the future.
